Paecilomyces lilacinus was first registered on citrus in China

Recently, a 200 million spores/gram Paecilomyces lilacinus powder product applied by a Chinese company was approved for registration. The registered crops and control targets are citrus tree nematodes. It is recommended that nematodes occur before the new citrus tree shoots out or when new roots are growing. Before or at the initial stage of use, plan the topsoil layer 1-2 cm around the roots in the canopy drip line, 10.5-15 kg per mu, mix with appropriate amount of fine sand, and evenly spread, cover the soil with water. This is the first time that my country has approved the registration of Paecilomyces lilacinus on citrus trees.

Previously, the registered crops and control targets of Paecilomyces lilacinus in my country were tomato and lawn (root knot) nematodes.
China lists Paecilomyces lilacinus as a pesticide exempted from the establishment of maximum residue limits in food.
